ONE MORE DAY

It has begun,
But I can go one more day.
A day belabored with both enduring and fledgling trials.
Each day with struggle affixed to its itinerary.
But I can go one more day.

I can go one more day,
For I AM equipped.
I have Grace,
I defy Opposition,
I seek Destiny,
Sufficiently enabled,
I can go one more day ‘til there is just one more day!

I SAW YOU
I saw you!
Dressed up in royalty, with trimmings of gold,
If just one in the crowd, your stance----bold.

true leader, tho’ omega anchors the rear,
upon entry, there is no question you’re here.

Scholarly man, persevering to uplift another,
principles I see, makes me want to be a brother.

irrefutable friendship, essential to the soul,
An unbreakable bond, both intention and the goal!

I saw you!
Since the first time I saw you, I desired to know,
The destiny of these men, and how might I go?

The course, unknown, the road bound to bend,
But the goal unchanging, that, to reach the end!

Load heavy as metal, lamentations on the harp,
but I’ll carry this iron, so long as it’s made sharp.

When I look up and see you, with no ails of the eye,
Brotherhood of relevant impact, the men of
Omega psi phi!
I saw you!
